After this, we will look at cricket and tennis.”
For the outbound market, Travelport has entered into an agreement with Singapore-based sports marketing company Dream Team.
“We have worked on packages for Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia in conjunction with Dream Team. These packages will comprise both leisure trips and training, learning, playing at the golf clubs. The idea is to enjoy the new playing environment and hone your skills,” said Mr Rao.
Travelport, which has a network of 50 offices including 42 franchisees, plans to market the new products through its distribution network and in association with the golf clubs it has tied up with.
