AIR France will launch Chennai-Paris thrice-weekly flights from October 30 and Delta Airlines will operate daily non-stop flights from Mumbai to New York from November 1.
The Chennai flight will arrive in Paris on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
In addition to launching flights to Chennai, Air France will be increasing capacity on Paris- Bangalore flights from five-times weekly to daily. And from this winter, the carrier will also operate the 310-seat Boeing 777-300 aircraft on its Paris-Mumbai route instead of the 270-seat B777-200 aircraft.
Meanwhile, Delta Airlines will fly Mumbai-New York non-stop daily from November 1, instead of going via Paris. The route will be serviced by B777-200ER aircraft.
