JET Airways is expanding its international routes in 2007. CEO, Mr Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, told TTG Daily News: "We plan to start daily flights from Mumbai to New York in August and from Mumbai to Shanghai in October. The Shanghai flights will continue to San Francisco."

The airline plans to start daily flights to South Africa, Kenya and Toronto in the second half of 2007/early 2008.

In South-east Asia, it will start daily Delhi-Bangkok and Kolkata-Bangkok flights from January 23.

The airline will build up its longhaul fleet from four aircraft to 22 by October 2008 comprising 10 Boeing 777-300ERs and 12 Airbus 330-200s. Most of its 24 London flights will be upgraded to the B777-300ER aircraft and selected routes in South-east Asia will be upgraded to the A330-200.
