China Southern launches new international flights

CHINA Southern has started operations on four new international routes from Guangzhou to Yangon, Phuket, Siem Reap and Vientiane.

The new flights to Yangon and Vientiane are the first routes operated by China Southern to Burma and Laos respectively. The airline also said it planned to start a direct flight between Guangzhou and Delhi in September.

According to the airline, flights to Yangon, Siem Reap and Vientiane will run three times weekly, and flights to Phuket will run four times weekly. The new services will be operated on Airbus 319 aircraft.

The launch brings the number of China Southern's international and regional routes to 86.
