JET Airways will expand its routes next year and have daily flights from Singapore to Bangalore starting from the first quarter and daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai in the first half of the year.

It is also looking at flights from Bangkok to Mumbai next year but the date of commencement has not been firmed up yet, Jet Airways regional vice-president Southeast Asia, Mr Gerry Oh, said.

Currently, Jet Airways has daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai and from Singapore to Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi. It also has flights from Bangkok to Calcutta and Delhi.

In Malaysia, SWOT Communications has just been appointed as Jet Airways public relations agency to strengthen the airline's marketing campaigns and to introduce Jet Airways new international destinations to the travelling public, Jet Airways country manager-Malaysia, Mr Kavin Martinus, added.
