BANGKOK – Thai Airways International confirmed on Wednesday its inaugural flight to Mumbai (Bombay) will proceed as planned on October 30, despite the recent events in central Asia. The flight will be operated three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, utilising an Airbus A330-300. However, the carrier's flights to Pakistan have been indefinitely suspended. The service to Lahore was stopped on Monday and the last flight to Karachi was made yesterday to pick up the last few Thai nationals stranded in Pakistan.Flights to Middle East destinations such as Dubai and the United Arab Emirates will be continued.
