HOTEMART Travel Services, the Kuala Lumpur-based B2B travel provider, has increased its product offering from just FIT hotels to now providing four other new lines of businesses.
It has added to its 20,000 room hotel database inventory a new line of sightseeing packages, transfers and FIT land tours. Hotemart also introduced an Asia-Pacific focused SIC group tour, Blue Monkey, two weeks back.
The addition lets its current 4,000 worldwide agents book popular packages online and earn commission. Top volume producers will earn up to 15 per cent commission on all Hotemart's tour components.
Senior Manager (distribution), Mr Fu Kei Cheong, said more expansionary plans were in the pipeline. “We have successfully held four roadshows over the past three months to four key cities – Shanghai, New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai – where we managed to sign up over 400 agents. Five more roadshows will be held this year, focusing on hot markets such as Indonesia, the Philippines and Indochina.”
