TOURISM Malaysia will revive its Friends of Malaysia campaign early next year to further promote the country to overseas travel agents selling Malaysia, foreign journalists who have been on familiarisation trips to Malaysia and foreign investors.

Tourism Malaysia's deputy director-general, Mr Razali Mohd Daud, said Tourism Malaysia would create a privilege card for members offering discounts at selected f&b outlets and restaurants.

He added: "We will also send regular email blasts to inform members about new tourism products and attractions in the country. Initially, we will start with about 5,000 members."

Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines (SIA) is partnering Tourism Malaysia to market various destinations in Malaysia.

The SIA Boarding Pass Privileges Malaysia Programme, for example, offers SIA and SilkAir passengers visiting Malaysia special offers for dining and entertainment, hotel stays, golf, shopping, sightseeing, etc. Visit singaporeair.com/boarding pass for more details.
