Swiss-Belhotel to manage upcoming Bali condotel

Jakarta (2009-02-19)

SWISS-BELHOTEL is expanding its Indonesia portfolio with its management of a Swiss-Belhotel Segara in Nusa Dua area, Bali, developed by Asiapac Pancamakmur Abadi.

The 10-year management contract was signed in Jakarta yesterday between Asiapac Pancamakmur Abadi director, Mr Anhony Rahardjo, and Swiss-Belhotel International senior vice-president operations and development, Mr Emmanuel Guillard.

Built on an 8,300m of land with an investment of US$4 million, the strata-title, four-star condotel will have 121 units when it opens in 2010.

Mr Rahardjo said Swiss-Belhotel Segara, which comprised one- and two-bedroom units, would be sold to individuals at between 500 million rupiah (US$45,500) and 900 million rupiah per unit.

The units will then be operated as hotel rooms with guaranteed return of investment to investors.

Mr Rahardjo was quoted by Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying: "We are also giving a buy-back guarantee to buyers, should they want to sell their units later."
