Ho replaces Greedy at Leading

MR Philip Ho, a former senior executive of ZUJI Asia-Pacific and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has replaced Mr Mark Greedy as vice-president Asia-Pacific of Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), based in Singapore.

At the same time, LHW's president & CEO, Mr Ted Teng, has also appointed Mr Bernard Agache, a former Westin Hotels & Resorts senior executive, to the newly created position of senior vice-president of membership based in the New York headquarters.

The appointments did not surprise many Mr Teng himself formerly headed Starwood in the region and, having taken over at LHW as president and CEO last year, surrounds himself with those he deems capable.

The appointments followed Mr Teng's “organisational realignment” recently, which resulted in the top layer of LHW being lopped off and huge amounts saved in salaries/compensation.

Mr Teng said it was made “to further strengthen membership, drive more revenue to members and add value to customers”.
