MR Scott Blume left ZUJI last week and at the helm of the online travel agency now is Mr Roshan Mendis, who worked under Mr Blume in Singapore over the past few years.

Mr Blume, who was CEO of ZUJI and president of Travelocity Asia-Pacific, said he intended to take a break before moving on with his next opportunity in the region that he was exploring, "which is not necessarily an online agency". For the past six years as CEO, Mr Blume helped build the ZUJI brand and its technical capabilities, and roll out the online agency in the region.

ZUJI is owned by Travelocity, part of Sabre Holdings. In Asia-Pacific, the brand ZUJI is used in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia, Nextour in India, and Travelocity in New Zealand.

Mr Mendis takes over from Mr Blume as president of ZUJI and regional vice president of Travelocity Asia-Pacific, responsible for growing all three brands in the region further.

Mr Mendis has more than 10 years' experience with Travelocity and Sabre and joined the ZUJI executive team in 2006 as director Supplier Relationships and Partnerships.
